What’s Common Humanity?

The Common Humanity features statements by multi-stakeholder representatives, who address broadly the challenges of globalization and the common destiny of human beings as neighbors on this planet, as shown through the fundamental values of the Millennium Declaration and Millennium Development Goals. Fuchigami introduced the Harmony-Eyes projects at the United Nations. “We are creating a new type of website where you can be encouraged and inspired by documentaries. All of us, one by one, can change the world. We would like to share different cultures and ideas through documentaries by Internet. We can change people’s conscience, raise awareness and create a better tomorrow.”

“When we get two different things together, we can achieve harmony. We create a website, with various documentaries submitted by individuals, where people can increase awareness and respect toward different cultures, worlds, and citizens.”

The media is a very powerful and potent force and can be effectively used to do good deeds for the benefit of all people young and old. The world is constantly in a state of crisis and the goals of Harmony Eyes can serve a very meaningful role in bringing people together to make a difference. We are pleased to join Harmony Eyes in this effort. What is done with Harmony-Eyes is absolutely fantastic.”
